The trip was a unique experience: the hotel! Jacuzzi! food ! - but I'm here to talk about outerwear. Without further ado, here's everything you need to know about Canada Goose x Reformation's Mila Puffer.
style
The first thing that catches the eye is the Mila Puffer Reversible. The coat comes in two colors, Sangria Multi and Pink Lotus (pictured) or Seaweed Multi and Peacock, and features a tri-color chevron print on one side and a solid color on the other. And since it costs $1,150, having two diapers at once makes the price tag easier to swallow. Plus, Miller's modularity is great for fashionistas like me whose style is all about mood. On a Tuesday, I might be tuning into maximalist frequencies and want bold, colorful graphics, but on a Wednesday, I might be feeling mellow and prefer a solid pink. And while I lean toward a more minimalist look, I know I'll appreciate the tonal logo puck on the jacket's left sleeve, a more understated design of Canada Goose's iconic red, white and blue branding.
The customization options go even further: the hem of the coat has an internal drawstring, allowing you to switch between slim and boxy outfits. And even if you opt for a more casual look, thanks to its relaxed shape, dropped shoulders and slim fit, the Mila Puffer Jacket never strays into Michelin Man marshmallow territory, as evidenced by the best winter coats.

Utility
On the Canada Goose Thermal Experience Index, which ranges from "mild" to "extreme," the Milla Puffer is classified as "versatile," meaning it's on the lighter end of the spectrum. It is ideal for temperature conditions from 32°F to 5°. f. In a thermal suit, sweater and snow pants, I was in the snow for about three hours, during which time I was perfectly warm for many outdoor activities, including the aforementioned snowmobiling. The coat also has hidden buttons down the center front which I find important for trapping excess heat.
The duvet is made from a durable wind and water resistant ripstop fabric that has withstood high winds, light rain and snow which is what I enjoyed walking out to the top of Aspen Mountain (3200m!) in a snowfall .
This reversible jacket also has an external zipped pocket on both sides. In other words, the Mila Puffer has four pockets to keep your phone and wallet safe, plus some winter gear like gloves, a scarf, SPF, and your favorite sunglasses.
durability
I admit I was a bit skeptical about the angle of stability of this capsule. Finally, Canada Goose is a company that has generated controversy due to its use of coyote fur. In 2020, the luxury brand launched HUMANNATURE, a sustainable and ethical initiative that "[reinforces] its commitment to keeping the planet cool and its inhabitants warm." These efforts include commitments to phase out fur production by the end of 2022 and achieve carbon neutrality by reducing emissions by 2025, two important signals to the public that the company is paying more attention to the environment. And its collaboration with sustainability-focused reforms is further proving that it makes the green leaf.
Now let's move on to the durable Mila Puffer details. Firstly, there is no fur in this coat. Made with Recycled Featherlight Ripstop fabric, a durable 100% recycled nylon fabric stuffed with responsibly sourced duck certified to responsible standards. (Down poultry, the company explains on its website, will remain a key part of the Canada Goose brand because it is one of nature's most effective and gentlest insulators.)
In addition to the craftsmanship, Canada Goose and Reformation also want you to think about the durability of your clothes. All outerwear in this collection is emblazoned with the 'Loved By' tag, a label with a blank line for the name and year to encourage you to pass the coat from friend to friend, family member to family member. At $1,150, it doesn't come close; The Milla Stand is a hard and tough investment. But it's a one-time investment and from then on you can continue to serve your loved ones and live the long life it deserves.
